I was all set to go get the cash but I felt something VERY fishy:

"Thats correct, 4 seats together in Floor 1 Row B.We have a deal, 4 tickets for $600 + fees by Money Gram and I have to pay for transport and stubhub fees. As far as I know for international payments StubHub use a simple and efficient method of payment like Money Gram. For added security, we use StubHub Fan Protect Program. It acts as a 3rd part, that means I can not access the money until you confirm that you get all the tickets. Stubhub will send you the tickets via USPS Priority Mail (i already send the tickets to stubhub 2 days ago) Fan Protect policy requires that the tickets must be shipped to them. More details about the method of payment and delivery of tickets, you will find in the sales contract that you'll receive from StubHub. I look forward your reply, if everything is OK with what I wrote above, so we can move to the next step. Once I send the invoice, I will hold the tickets for you for 24 hrs to give you an opportunity to make payment.
All I want now from you is to tell me what name will receive the tickets, so i can inform StubHub.Shipping address too. Thanks"

"The business is simple, all I need is confirmation that you want to conclude the deal and immediately afterwards I will contact stubhub notify them that we agreed on sales detail and they send you an invoice to pay. All the answers about how an exchange take place between a buyer and seller find them in that bill payment. You have to send the money on the name of an agent from Stubhub.Read carefully the message from them, follow all steps as are described. Immediately after you send the money transfer you have to send all the details you are required by stubhub. They will check if the transfer is made and if everything is ok,they will overnight them to you via FedEx. After you receive your tickets, you have 24 hours available to check if they are those you have bought, then you must inform stubhub, as tickets are ok. Only then stubhub send me a copy of payment details that I could collect the money."

And I also got the said invoice from "StubHub." Tsk tsk tsk..... these scammers.

Re: About Me

Hey Alex,.. I'm guessing you haven't received your One X yet,.. but when you do.. you should pretty much checkout XDA-DEVELOPERS.COM for some details. HTC tends to let people unlock the bootloader but that just lets you "root" it.. you unlock the bootloader, then root it, then you can install whatever you want. It's somewhat like an on/off valve for a water hose with a nozzle.. you can turn on the water or turn it off.. but water won't come out until you pull the trigger at the nozzle.. you unlock the bootloader, THEN root.. then you can install whatever you want onto the phone.. let me know when you have your phone!!

Re: About Me

Hey Imran, I'd checkout XDA..

http://forum.xda-developers...

they show you all the details on how to root, install roms, etc. Hope that helps :)

Re: About Me

Hi, Ravi bhai,

I have an issue, I have an HTC Evo 3d X515m GSM....I am trying to properly root my phone, but there is no information online to root a gsm Evo 3d, they only have rooting for the sprint Evo 3d. I am also inspired by your forum, to root my phone, but I am scared I might mess it up...because i recently bought it unlocked for a hefty price.

Re: Scam Alert with Craigslist and Stubhub: Be Warned

Ur a legend! My one One X should arrive this week or the one after that. My 3GS is really on it's last leg right now, but I still love it, it has served me well.

I hate SENSE sense I don't like the overall look of it, the clock, lock screen, multitasking, it just looks like it is over-designed.. or something.. I love the look of ICS on the Nexus because it is so clean and cold. Tough I am happy that HTC has decided, not to change the OS so much as they usually would have done.

Did not know that a 'clean' android OS was called vanilla android, thx for that one! This will make searching for useful information soooo much easier :p But was surpriced not to find any info on wiki about it.

Just read about HTC letting people unlock their bootloaders, with a dev pack..ish.. thing.. Anyway, what does this really mean? That I will have an easier time rooting the device? That I wont risk bricking it?

I did manage to jailbreak my 3GS once, but I experienced some increased sluggishness of the phone, and didn't really feel the need for the jailbreak, so I restored it to it's original limits. But it was fun trying it out!

Re: About Me

Hey Alex.. glad to see you like my name :)... as far as the new phones coming out, ya I'd definitely stick with waiting a littler longer for that One X.. seems to be the successor of the Evo4G/3D phones. As far as sense, what part do you not like about it? The overall feel? the clock, the lock screen.. etc.. I mean.. if its a complete blanket dislike for SENSE, then you're always able to root it and flash a vanilla android onto it. Most likely, there'll be an ICS version w/o sense over on xda-developers.com. It's a great site to checkout if you haven't already. As far as jb'ing it.. HTC has somewhat leaned over to the "letting people unlock their bootloaders" mentality so it shouldn't be too long once the phone is out that there's a viable ROM for it w/o sense.. hope that answers your questions, feel free to toss me more through here..

Re: About Me

Well Ravi, how do I contact you with questions concerning rooting my phone? Just ask in a comment field?

I don't have a lot of time, sense I need do decide really soon, so I will just ask here. I'm jumping ship from Iphone 3gs to Android. I was going for the Galaxy Nexus because it has no overlay. But now that HTC is rolling out it's One X, I feel this is a much better option. It's just that I hate HTC SENSE, I want to nuke it from orbit. SO what I want to ask you is if you think it will be possible to root the HTC One X, or if I should go with the safe Galaxy Nexus.

This might seem like a no brainer for you smart people. But no, no, not for me. Just see what phone I choose to be my fist smartphone. I bit the apple, but it just tasted sour. Sure, somehow I managed to jailbreak it, but it still tasted foul. Now I'm on my way in to a world with green robots everywhere, and I don't speak their language.

Oh and I love your name! Seriously awesome. Now I'm thinking about naming my (future) kid that!

Best Regards
Alexander from Sweden

Re: Scam Alert with Craigslist and Stubhub: Be Warned

Emilee, it would be nice if Stubhub would contact Craigslist to remove adds from this known criminal. It's a numb out society as we have pills for everything. Sadly it's now affecting animals. Women in Africa wail when they loose a child and people surround the family during this time. I think it would be interesting to research what other countries to for treating their feelings. I'm sure we'd find lot's of folks naturally going through the motions.
